Power plant engineering needs a supplier who masters steel fabrication in large dimensions: components for energy installations carry high static and dynamic loads and stand outdoors or in a harsh plant environment for decades — including weather, moisture and temperature cycles. That calls for load-bearing welded structures, dimensionally accurate connection and mating faces and corrosion protection that lasts as long as the installation.
As a contract manufacturer working to drawing we produce support structures, frames, housings and foundation components for hydropower, wind power and conventional power plant engineering — from the single part to the small series. We process structural steel S235/S355, fine-grain structural steel up to S1100 and pressure vessel steel P355GH; load-bearing welds are made to DIN EN 1090-2 EXC3.
The entire process chain is under one roof in Lorch: flame cutting on 20 × 3.5 m up to 200 mm, SAW and MAG welding, CNC large-part machining up to 26 m, shot blasting and industrial painting. That shortens lead times, avoids intermediate transports — and secures complete material traceability to EN 10204.

For components in energy and power plant engineering we stock over 40 material grades: structural steel S235/S355, fine-grain structural steel up to S1100 for highly stressed welded structures, wear-resistant steel, stainless steel and pressure vessel steel P355GH. Every batch is marked and traceable with a 3.1 mill certificate to EN 10204 — we carry out the re-stamping in-house, authorised by GSI SLV München.
Manufacturing depth extends from cutting through SAW and MAG welding to CNC large-part machining on gantry milling centres up to 26 m, the Soraluce FR 20,000 floor-type milling centre and the CNC horizontal boring mills. Shot blasting to Sa 2.5 in the large chamber of the blasting and painting plant and multi-coat industrial painting to EN ISO 12944 complete the process — so that assemblies leave the works ready to install and durably protected.

We supply the documentation to match the applicable standard, from the weld record to the 3.1 mill certificate.
We blast to cleanliness grade Sa 2.5 and coat with multi-coat industrial painting to EN ISO 12944 — durable protection for components exposed to weather and a harsh plant environment for years. Both take place in our own works, without additional transports.
