Anyone approving us as a manufacturing partner needs the same set of records every time: an overview of our manufacturing depth and machinery, valid certificates and the contractual basis. This page brings them together in one place – no registration, no forms.
We manufacture at a single site – Lorch in the Remstal (Ostalbkreis), conveniently situated in the Stuttgart region; from there we supply customers throughout the DACH region and across Europe. For your supplier file this means: every record on this page applies to exactly the production facility that will execute your order – no plant-specific versions and no question of which plant holds which certificate.

A note on certificates: The version provided on this page is always the authoritative one. When a certificate expires, the file is replaced once re-certification is complete – the expiry date is shown next to each record on the certifications page.
Questions about our documents
Which documents does a supplier approval require?
For most approval and audit processes, four building blocks from this page are sufficient: the company brochure (range of services and manufacturing depth), the machine list (component limits, working ranges, load capacities), the four certificates (DIN EN 1090-2 EXC3, EN ISO 3834-2, AD 2000 HP 0, DIN EN ISO 9001:2015) and the contractual basis formed by the GTC and the Technical Terms of Delivery and Manufacturing. If your process calls for anything beyond that – say, the qualification record of our welding supervision or a project-specific certificate package – we will put it together for you.
In what order of precedence do the purchase order, TLB and GTC apply?
There is exactly one authoritative order of precedence, set out in § 2.4 of the GTC: your purchase order comes first, followed by the Technical Terms of Delivery and Manufacturing, followed by the GTC. Deviations from our standard specifications therefore do not need to be negotiated – they apply as soon as they are clearly stated in your purchase order.
What do I need to specify in my order to receive the right inspection documentation?
Inspections and certificates are only produced if they are ordered when the order is placed – an inspection status can rarely be reconstructed after the fact. For non-destructive testing, therefore, specify: test methods, scope of testing, areas to be tested, applicable testing standards, acceptance or evaluation criteria and the scope of documentation. For certificates, state the type and scope (e.g. DIN EN 10204 3.1). The associated inspection and documentation effort is agreed separately.
Which non-destructive tests do you carry out in-house?
We perform the surface methods ourselves: visual testing (VT), magnetic particle testing (MT) and penetrant testing (PT) – carried out by in-house personnel qualified to DIN EN ISO 9712 at Level 2. Volumetric testing, i.e. ultrasonic (UT) and radiographic (RT) testing, is provided through qualified partners. Both apply where expressly ordered.
Who is responsible for welding supervision at Bock?
Responsible welding supervision to DIN EN 1090-2 and EN ISO 3834-2 lies with an International and European Welding Engineer (IWE/EWE) – he prepares and approves the welding procedure specifications. He is supported in production by a welding specialist (IWS). Both qualification records are available as PDFs and can be added directly to your supplier file.
Which material certificates to EN 10204 can I receive?
On order we supply certificates to DIN EN 10204 in types 2.1, 2.2 and 3.1. Bock is authorised by GSI SLV to re-stamp materials – so the traceability of every batch remains fully documented, and the re-stamping certificate is available in German and English.
Which standards is Bock certified to – and are the records up to date?
Bock is a welding contractor to DIN EN 1090-2 EXC3 and EN ISO 3834-2 (certified by DVS ZERT), qualified for pressure vessel construction to AD 2000 HP 0 (GSI SLV) and certified for quality management to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 (TÜO). The version provided here is always the authoritative one: each certificate shows its validity date, and after re-certification we replace the file – so an outdated version can never enter circulation.
Can you complete our supplier questionnaire?
Yes. Send us your supplier questionnaire or supplier self-assessment – we will complete it and return it together with the appropriate records. That keeps the supplier approval lean for both sides.
In which languages are the documents available?
The language of each document is indicated by a code (DE/EN). Certificates are provided in the version issued by the certification body – for audits and tenders, that is the valid form. For the Technical Terms of Delivery and Manufacturing, legally only the German version is binding; translations are provided for ease of understanding. If you need an English version of a specific record, get in touch.
Do you treat our drawings and enquiries as confidential?
Yes. We treat drawings, specifications and enquiries as confidential and do not pass them on to third parties. We are happy to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) before sensitive documents are exchanged.
