Wear plates
Flame-cut blanks up to 200 mm plate thickness — including wear-resistant grades for highly abrasive applications.
Wear plates for crushing and processing plants
As a supplier of steel fabrication and construction machinery components, Bock manufactures welded and machined parts — booms, chassis steelwork, mixer components and wear plates, to DIN EN 1090-2 EXC3 in Lorch in the Stuttgart region.
Wear-resistant grades from our own stock — long service life under abrasion from sand, gravel and concrete.
Booms, frames and chassis steelwork to DIN EN 1090-2 EXC3 and EN ISO 3834-2 — load-bearing seams welded with full documentation.
Heavy assemblies up to 50 t and 26 m component length — safely handled by the crane system with 25 t.
Oxy-fuel cutting up to 200 mm plate thickness — wear plates and trough plates in one piece, with no joint.
Press brakes with up to 1,000 t press force — also for thick-walled fine-grain and wear-resistant plate.
As a construction machinery supplier for steel fabrication, Bock Maschinenbau manufactures welded and machined components for the construction and building materials industry — to drawing, from the single part to the recurring series. Components on excavators, crushers and mixing plants are subject to high dynamic loads and severe abrasive wear from sand, gravel and concrete. Which material takes that is defined by your design — from structural steel through high-strength fine-grain structural steel to wear-resistant grades. What comes from us is the manufacturing: dimensionally accurate, low in distortion and documented.
From the flame-cut blank through bending and welding to CNC large-part machining, shot blasting and industrial painting, everything is created under one roof in Lorch near Stuttgart. That shortens lead times, avoids interfaces between several suppliers and secures seamless material traceability to EN 10204.
We are a contract manufacturer, not a machine builder: design and product responsibility remain with you — we supply ready-to-install welded assemblies and machined components in inspected, documented quality.
From the boom to the wear plate — we manufacture to your drawing:

Welded support structures in high-strength fine-grain structural steel — manufactured stress-relieved and fully machined.

Welded and machined frame assemblies — blasted and painted ready for installation.

Wear plates and components for crushing and processing plants in wear-resistant steel — flame-cut up to 200 mm.

Trough plates and mixer components in wear-resistant steel, hydraulically press-braked and welded with low distortion — also for concrete compaction plants.
Further components to drawing — simply send us your documents.
Most components are made from structural steel S235/S355. Where dead weight counts, high-strength fine-grain structural steel up to S1100 is added — for booms and frames that are stiff and lighter at the same time. And where sand, gravel and concrete determine service life, we process wear-resistant grades such as Hardox 400/500 and XAR.
Over 40 material grades are available from our own stock — every item with a 3.1 mill certificate to EN 10204 and seamless material marking from the cut blank to the ready-to-install assembly. That shortens procurement times and keeps your documentation ready for audit.
Materials we process
Wear parts begin with the cut. On the 20 × 3.5 m cutting table we cut structural steel, fine-grain and wear-resistant steel up to 200 mm plate thickness — large-format and true to contour.

Large-format trough plates
Blanks on a 20 × 3.5 m table area — in one piece, with fewer joints and weld seams on the finished component.
Trough plates in one piece, with no joint
Flame-cut parts for frames & chassis
Flame-cut parts in S355 and fine-grain structural steel up to S1100 as the starting point for welded frame assemblies.

Load-bearing welded structures for construction machinery are manufactured to DIN EN 1090-2 in EXC3 — the highest execution class certified in practice — and to EN ISO 3834-2 with comprehensive quality requirements for welding. Every assembly leaves the plant with documented weld seam inspection and a 3.1 mill certificate to EN 10204.
Highly stressed seams on booms, chassis and mixer components are tested directly in production — with no external waiting times:
The scope of testing follows your specification — from a sampling plan to full inspection of all load-bearing seams.
Yes. We manufacture booms, frames, chassis steelwork, trough and mixer components as well as wear plates to your drawing and in the specified material — welded to DIN EN 1090-2 EXC3 and machined.
Predominantly structural steel S235/S355. For load-bearing structures high-strength fine-grain structural steel up to S1100, for highly abrasive areas wear-resistant grades such as Hardox 400/500 or XAR — all with a 3.1 mill certificate to EN 10204 from our own stock.
Up to 50 t part weight and 26 m component length. The crane system with 25 t allows even heavy chassis and frame assemblies to be turned and set up safely.
By our own NDT inspectors with Level 2 to DIN EN ISO 9712 — VT, PT and MT directly in production. UT is carried out at our plant by certified inspection personnel of our cooperation partner. The documentation covers inspection records and a 3.1 mill certificate to EN 10204; you define the scope of testing by specification.
Yes. Worn or damaged components are repaired by welding and machining according to the assessment — with subsequent inspection and documentation.
