Heavy machining at Bock means milling, boring, line boring and turning of components that are too large, too long or too heavy for standard machines – up to 26,000 mm in length and 50 t. Portal milling, floor-type milling, horizontal boring mills and vertical lathe turning interlock within the same facility, so complex workpieces are machined completely without external logistics.

For every task the right machine is available; this reduces setup and re-clamping operations and secures tight positional tolerances even over large distances.
Programming is done from CAD data or drawing dimensions – single parts, prototypes and small batches alike, as contract manufacturing with no minimum quantities. The 2×25 t crane runway secures the setup and positioning of all large parts; dimensional reports, first-article inspection and material certificates are provided per project in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.
After machining, large parts are handed over directly for welding, shot blasting and painting – complete single-source manufacturing, without external logistics between the machining steps.
