Contract Supplier for Special Purpose Machinery

For special purpose machinery manufacturers, precision steel structures and welded assemblies are often on the critical path. Bock produces welded assemblies, frames, housings and machine bases to customer drawings – single pieces to small series.

Certified to DIN EN 1090-2 EXC3, Bock manufactures demanding welded structures in steel and plant engineering. The in-house range includes MAG, TIG and submerged arc welding, CNC heavy machining, fitting work and final assembly.

Crane engineering demands the highest weld quality, non-destructive testing and precision large-part machining. Bock operates gantry millers and boring mills for heavy parts up to 50 t and a working length of 26,000 mm.

Industries and Applications

Customers include crane and hoist manufacturers, vehicle builders, civil engineering contractors and suppliers for water and environmental technology. Production is carried out from technical drawings or CAD data provided by the customer.

In vehicle engineering, frames, booms and attachments for commercial vehicles and construction machinery are manufactured. Agricultural attachments, tipping bodies and special municipal containers are also within scope.

The Lorch location near Stuttgart offers logistical advantages for customers across southern Germany and the German-speaking market. Full manufacturing from steel fabrication to assembly – single-unit production possible, delivered to schedule.

Certification and Quality Assurance

Bock Maschinenbau is certified to DIN EN 1090-2 EXC3 and ISO 9001. For special purpose machinery, weld inspections, NDT records and complete manufacturing documentation are available on request – for acceptance by customers and external inspection bodies.

Bock is one of the few contract manufacturers in southern Germany to cover plant engineering, machining and surface treatment without external subcontracting. This minimises interfaces, shortens lead times and ensures quality across all trades.

Industrial and plant-engineering companies from the Stuttgart area, the DACH region and across Europe rely on Bock for custom constructions – designed, manufactured and assembled from a single source in Lorch.
