Special Container Manufacturing for Industry and Offshore
Special containers from Bock serve as protective housings for machinery, switchgear, aggregates and technical systems in industrial and marine environments. Steel and stainless steel containers are manufactured to customer drawings and application-specific standards.
Offshore containers must meet strict requirements for weld quality, material grade and corrosion protection. Bock holds certification to DIN EN 1090-2 EXC3 and manufactures welds of this execution class with full documentation.
Each container is individually engineered and built: reinforced corner fittings, ventilation openings, service doors, lifting points and technical installations to customer specification. Single units and small series – delivered to schedule.
Integrated Production and Surface Treatment
Special container manufacturing at Bock is fully integrated: steel cutting, welding, shot blasting to Sa 2.5 and industrial painting to EN ISO 12944 – all under one roof. No external subcontracting required for offshore manufacturing.
The in-house XXL blast booth (25 x 7 x 6 m) and an equivalent paint booth allow full surface treatment of containers up to maximum shipping size. Interior and exterior coatings are applied in a single production run.
Quality assurance includes non-destructive testing (NDT), weld inspection to DIN EN 1090 and full documentation. Offshore manufacturing with complete inspection records for international standards compliance.
