Economical plasma cutting for steel, stainless steel and wear-resistant steel from 8 to 60 mm – on large format with automatic bevel cutting, no minimum quantities and direct further processing in Lorch, Germany.
Economical for plate thicknesses from 8 to 60 mm – faster than oxy-fuel, more precise for stainless and special steels.
Large-format blanks cut in one pass – no split cuts, no repositioning.
Automatic bevel at the cutting head – weld seam preparation without secondary operations.
Structural steel, stainless steel, wear-resistant steel and fine-grain steel to S1100 – all key materials from one machine.
Welding, CNC machining, shot blasting and coating without external interfaces in Lorch.
Individual parts, prototypes and series parts manufactured equally to drawing.
In CNC plasma cutting, an electric arc is directed through an ionised gas that separates the workpiece. The process is particularly economical for plate thicknesses up to 60 mm and is suitable for structural steel, stainless steel and wear-resistant grades.
The Messer Omnimat machine with HPR-400 plasma unit travels over a format of 20,000 × 3,500 mm. Automatic bevel cutting to ±45° enables weld seam preparation in a single operation – no secondary operations required.
CNC plasma-cut parts are manufactured to drawing. Contract manufacturing in Lorch covers individual parts and small series without minimum order quantities.
CNC plasma cutting quality at Bock is managed under DIN EN ISO 9001:2015. Material traceability from sheet certificate to finished part is maintained and documented. Plasma-cut parts can be welded, drilled, surface-treated and painted entirely within the Lorch facility. This single-source capability is especially relevant for series components and complex fabrications requiring multiple manufacturing steps – from cutting and welding through boring mill machining, shot blasting and final industrial painting. Bock's documented quality management under DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 ensures consistent accuracy and full material traceability from raw sheet certificate through to the finished plasma-cut component.
Plasma-cut parts in stainless steel are produced without heat tint when the shielding-gas flow is set accordingly. Our contract manufacturing also covers series cutting for recurring components in small and large batches.
After cutting, components can be processed further directly in welded-assembly production, CNC machining and surface treatment – all in the same facility in Lorch. Quality assurance is carried out in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 with documented traceability.
