About the Role
As a Structural Metalworker or Fitter (m/f/d), you will carry out fitting and assembly tasks on steel assemblies and special-purpose machinery structures at our site in 73547 Lorch, near Schwäbisch Gmünd, Baden-Württemberg.
Your Responsibilities
- Assembly and fitting of steel assemblies and special machinery components to drawings
- Metalworking tasks: aligning, tack welding, drilling, grinding, deburring
- Adjustment and fit-up work using precision measuring tools
- Quality inspection of assembled components
- Close collaboration with welding and CNC machining departments
Your Profile
- Completed apprenticeship as a structural metalworker, fitter or industrial mechanic
- Experience in processing steel assemblies
- Proficient in reading technical drawings
- Manual dexterity and careful working approach
- Team player with initiative

Special machines from batch size 1
You assemble steel assemblies and special machines to drawing — individual parts and small batches from batch 1, every workpiece different instead of an assembly-line cycle.
Straighten, fit, bring to size
You straighten, tack, drill and precisely fit assemblies made of structural steel, Hardox and stainless steel 1.4301, and secure dimensional accuracy with measuring equipment.
Heavy construction up to 50 t
You assemble at the interface to the EXC3 welding shop and CNC large-part machining — on special-machine assemblies up to 50 t, all trades under one roof.
