As an Industrial Painter and Shot Blaster (m/f/d), you will carry out shot blasting (Sa 2.5) and industrial painting to EN ISO 12944 in one of southern Germany's largest blast and spray booths – in Lorch, Baden-Württemberg.

Shot blasting (blast grade Sa 2.5) of steel and machinery components on an open blasting system (Sybrandy)
Industrial painting to EN ISO 12944 (corrosion protection C3–C5)
Application of primers, intermediate coats and topcoats
Painting with paint spray systems (Wagner, Cobra) and Sata spray guns
Quality inspection: film thickness measurement, adhesion testing
Part preparation (degreasing, masking)
Your Profile
Training as a painter/varnisher, vehicle painter or comparable qualification
Experience in industrial painting (corrosion protection)
Knowledge of shot blasting and surface preparation is desirable
Reliable and careful working approach
Team player with a quality-focused mindset

Blast cleaning in a 25 m blast chamber
You blast-clean welded assemblies to Sa 2.5 — on request up to Sa 3 — on the Sybrandy Vario Primus 45 KE blasting system in a 25 × 7 × 6 m blast chamber.
Industrial coating up to C5-H
You coat heavy components up to 50 t to EN ISO 12944 up to corrosivity category C5-H — applied with Wagner and Cobra paint spraying systems and Sata spray guns.
Blasting and painting from a single source
You take charge of the complete surface: blasted components move without any external company into the identically built paint booth, where you measure every coat thickness and document it to ISO 9001.

Good German makes everyday work on the shop floor easier: drawings, welding plans and team coordination are all in German. It does not have to be perfect. At Bock, colleagues from many nations work side by side, some with little German — what counts is the craft. If in doubt, a short phone call is best: a conversation clears this up faster than a form.
Can I do a trial workday?
Yes. Trial work is common with us and has proven its worth: a day on the shop floor shows both sides more than a long conversation — what the work really looks like and how it fits in the team. The date is arranged individually once the application has arrived. The day serves mutual acquaintance and is not paid.
What happens after I apply?
Every application is reviewed personally here. A first reply normally comes within two weeks. Usually a short phone call follows, then a personal interview and, where it fits, a trial workday. For questions in between, a call to the extension above helps.
Will my foreign qualification be recognised?
That cannot be answered in general terms. The recognition of foreign qualifications is not decided by us but by the competent authorities, and it is always assessed case by case. For an application this is not an exclusion criterion: what counts is what someone can do and wants to do — existing certificates, work experience, the trial workday and honest interest in the job.
Which documents do I need?
A cover letter is not required. A CV and references do belong with it, though — without them an application cannot be assessed. It also helps to add a short introduction in the message field: a few sentences about experience and motivation often say more than a certificate.
Is there shift work?
Yes. The work runs in two shifts, an early and a late shift. There is no night shift. Weekend work only happens by arrangement, depending on the order situation.
