## About the Role

As a Sawyer (m/f/d), you will cut bar stock, pipes and beams to cutting lists on modern automatic sawing machines (MEBA, Kaltenbach, Behringer) at our site in 73547 Lorch, Ostalbkreis – near Schwäbisch Gmünd.

## Your Responsibilities

- Sawing bar stock, pipes and beams to cutting lists on MEBA, Kaltenbach and Behringer saws
- Picking the cut parts according to orders
- Independently managing the material store and stock disposition
- Setting up and operating the automatic sawing machines to specification
- Dimensional and quality inspection of the cut parts

## Your Profile

- Completed apprenticeship in a metalworking trade
- Ideally experience in a sawing department
- Confident reading of cutting and production lists
- Independent and structured working approach
- Team player and reliable

### Saw bars, tubes, steel beams and flat steel bars to length

You set up and operate four NC saws — MEBA DGA 400 (Ø 406 mm or 700 × 400 mm, mitre up to 60°), two Kaltenbach KKS 400 and the Behringer VMS 350 — for dimensionally accurate cuts.

### Your cutting starts every major project

At the start of the process chain, your dimensionally accurate cuts feed welded assemblies up to 50 t, heavy roll-bent parts and the CNC machining of components up to 26 m.

### Profile variety instead of an assembly line

You saw IPE, HEB and HEA beams, pipes and hollow sections in S235 to high-strength fine-grain structural steel S1100 and stainless steel 1.4301 — individual part and small batch from batch 1.

Experience in flame cutting is welcome, but it is not a requirement – we will train you on the machine. Career changers from production, warehouse work or metalworking are welcome too: we will train you as a machine operator on the cutting system, and you can obtain your forklift and crane licence with us.

### Welder (m/f/d)

We are looking for welders (m/f/d) to join our team in 73547 Lorch, near Schwäbisch Gmünd, Baden-Württemberg. At Bock Maschinenbau, you will weld challenging steel assemblies, special machinery parts and large structures — MAG, TIG and submerged arc welding.

### CNC Machinist – Milling & Boring Mill (m/f/d)

As a CNC Machinist (m/f/d), you will mill, drill and line-bore large components up to 26 m in length and 50 t in unit weight – on two gantry milling machines, a travelling-column milling centre and three horizontal boring mills at our site in 73547 Lorch, Ostalbkreis, near Schwäbisch Gmünd.

### CNC Turner / Vertical Turning Lathe (m/f/d)

As a CNC Turner (m/f/d), you will operate our vertical turning lathe: rotationally symmetric large parts up to Ø 4,800 mm and 25 t piece weight, programmed on the Siemens 840D – in 73547 Lorch, Ostalbkreis, near Schwäbisch Gmünd.
